SHOPPING ESSENTIALS complaint by Jpatella1983

i have used restaurant.com and after you make a purchase they tell you you can get cash back...don't do it that is where the scam starts with shopping essentials they don't make it clear what it is and then tell you to respond to the email i responded telling them to cancel whatever resturant.com had me sign up with and a month later i get $14.95 taken from my checking account i looked it up and it said they have a yearly fee i called the customer service# and the lady i spoke with was very rude trying to tell me she can only offer me a $14.95 yearly membership instead of monthly i explained i already read the website and is always a yearly membership and want my money back she tried not to give it to me and i demanded to speak with a manager she refused and finally very nasty told me fine she can cancel my membership and refund my money she gave me a confirmation# and name then i asked for a user id she refused and ended call.so be careful i would like to find out how to complain to this company they need to be shut down they are nothing but a big scam
